First Fridays Bike-In: Discover the Exchange District on Two Wheels!
Date: Friday, October 4th
Starting Points: St James, Empress, Wolsely
Join the First Fridays Bike-In and experience the Exchange District like never before! Biking to the Exchange is easier than you think. This group bike ride will guide participants through the safest and most convenient routes from various neighborhoods across Winnipeg, helping everyone gain the confidence to navigate the city on their bikes.
Event Highlights:
- Group Ride: Connect with fellow cyclists and enjoy a scenic ride into the heart of the Exchange District.
- Multiple Pick-Up Stations: Riders can join at any of the convenient pick-up stations along the route.
- Explore First Fridays: Once the group arrives, everyone is free to explore all the exciting activities and attractions that First Fridays have to offer.
October 4th Route Pit Stops:
- 6:30 PM: Assiniboine Park Footbridge – Aggassiz Ice Sculpture
- 6:56 PM: Omand’s Creek Park/Empress Bikeway
- 7:11 PM: Sherbrook/Maryland (The Nook Diner)
- 7:19 PM: Osborne @ Assiniboine Ave
- 7:24 PM: Bonnycastle Park (Assiniboine Ave @ Garry St)
- 7:33 PM: Old Market Square
